Hello all my artists and party goers!!

Just a quick little announcement.

I am changing the spa party to a Glitter and Glitz party!!

Full details on the description page!

With the limited amount of space at the studio I am taking away the foot soak and face masks and replacing it with ALOT of more fun.

We will still polish fingers and toes and try on lots of lotions. I am adding hairdos, face painting or make-up application, embellish flip flops to wear home and then they can make body glitter gel, or bath salts.

This Party is ready to book!!!!!!

Party cost will be $12 per girl.

The regular Wed. evening classes will keep on going. There will be a little tweaking of the classes to accomidate the different ages of the children.

....For the new children. I am happy to help out a little more to get your artistic juices flowing.

...For the returning children..it's time to up your game kids. I will be giving them a lot more leeway to add their own creativity. You've been here longer kids time to add a little more detail and clean up those edges. Now the masterpieces will be even better!!!!

For the advanced children aged 11 and over, you are of course always welcome to any class I teach. But now I have something even more exciting for you. More advanced classes. I will be teaching a 6 week class of introduction to One-stroke flowers. It will be Saturdays starting Jan. 15th. From 4-5:30 If you take the full 6 weeks the class is $65 or you can take classes individually for $15 per class. Students will be painting in a notebook and learning a lot of technique. One flower a week and the final class they will be painting a compilation painting 16x20

And finally for my science club kids. Here is the starch slime recipe I couldn't fine..:)

1/4 C water

1/4 C glue

1/4 C starch

Pour glue and water into a mixing bowl, stir until completely mixed , add some food coloring if you want then the starch.

Noah's Ark Workshop Parties

These parties are great fun. Sort of like a "build a bear" workshop at the studio. The great thing is that the price is compatible and you don't have to share your party with other children or trek them all the way to Ross Park Mall.

Entertaining with kids

This is a really fun class to teach kids (& the young at heart) how to make their own party favors, gifts as well as snacks and treats. This will be a 3 hour workshop, $30. Max class size is 5

Surprise Saturday

Who knows what may be in store for our Saturdays.

Fingerknitting, crochet, latchook, soapmaking, beading, sewing and much much more

Friday after-school drawing will be back

These classes will start in October and will start off with a monster drawing session

Open Paint

One saturday a month $10

Come into the studio for a few hours and paint your hearts desire. This is non-instructional.

First Photography trip!

The first trip to Phipps was a ton of fun! I will definitely be scheduling another one this summer!

Cartoon Drawers, There are 3 more dates left for after school drawing. There will be some drawing in the summer camps and then we will pick up drawing again in the fall.

Remember as Bob Ross said, "There no mistakes, only happy accidents"

My name is Jenn Urbanek, I am a One-Stroke Certified Instructor

I have been teaching classes for adults & kids for the last 5 years. I have been teaching at JoAnns, Michaels, Assisted living facilities and a lot of teaching from my dining room table.

My expertise really lies with the kids. I love to teach them and see what a beautiful piece of work they can make.

I am obsessed with everything "ART" I have a whole library worth of art books that you are welcome to come and check out and find a project to die for! For the last years my 1 art room has exploded into 3 and my hubby wants us out!!!

So as per his wishes I am excited that now I have my own studio so I can really expand what I can offer and paint paint paint.

I am also offering comissioned items that can be customized any way you like as well as a gift area, you will find many unique one of a kind items there. My new thing is painting on glass blocks.
